April 23rd @ Ear X Tacy- Late Ones, Another Mistake

Local pop punk favorites Late Ones(FFO Kid Dynamite, The Movielife) are playing Ear X Tacy with Louisville's own hardcore superstars (I kid, I kid) Another Mistake. It's fucking FREE and on a Saturday night. There is no reason to miss this. You'll be able to pick up records while you're there too. Shows at record stores make me feel gooey and warm inside.

Ryan Tassi

Downpresser

I met this really nice kid, Ryan Tassi, about a month or two ago. He is such a genuine good hearted person (which is few and far between). He's been demonstrating his [photography] style at shows lately. He is such a great photographer. If you're into film photography, show photos, friend photos, photos of normal objects that look awesome, you should check out his Flickr.

Evil Grimace (Louisville)

I don't know if any of you remember Brainz Out.. but Evil Grimace is the 2010 version.
Basically, a group of goofy dudes playing spoof youth crew esque hardcore. You'll never see half of the band members at a hardcore show *unless its locals only* but I like the music a lot so I thought I would post about it.

Big things...

Well, I've been in Louisville for almost two weeks now. The time spent here so far has been nothing short of spectacular. The only semi-downside is I don't have the internet password at my place and I don't know how to figure it out. Its not been a bad thing. Being away from the computer has given me more time for friends, Sophia, and catching up on reading. (I'm updating via my Blackberry).
The move went well. I finished my last final on Wednesday and had everything packed on Tuesday. I left Thursday morning at 530am. It was hard leaving my Mom but she was very positive about the move. She has continued to be very positive. Sophia and I arrived in Louisville around 930PM (we stopped a lot to just chill and run around).Hanged out with the boys and stayed at Keith's house. I don't remember a lot from that night so I'm sure it was good. Since the first night everyone has been hanging out... Like nonstop hanging out. I haven't been home alone at all except to sleep and even then Dusty has been sleeping over every weekend and Shella this weekend. Its been a great transition... I mean I didn't expect my friends to be so stoked on me being back. I defiantly underestimated them.<3
I want to update more about parties, bands, friends but its hard to think of all the great stuff that's gone on! I have a lot of photos I want to post and bands I want to talk about but that will all have to wait until I have time to get on my laptop.

The Great Depression

If you know me, you know that I use to live in Louisville, KY. Lou is about an hr from Cincinnati, OH. I went there for shows once a month or so, depending on who played. Well, two years ago, The Great Depression played a show in Covington, KY which is basically Cincinnati, OH. My ex boyfriend and I went. This was probably the best show I've been to in the Covington/Cincinnati area. They were so fucked up that one of them fell asleep playing. The downside of this show was so many fools talking during their set. They are an acoustic, two piece, so every chord counts, and when you can't hear it because of the fools talking, that's super annoying.
The Great Depression isn't together anymore but they are one of the most honest bands I've seen. Songs about love, depression, heartache, drug abuse, etc.. A recent shuffle had them catch my attention again. It seems like every fall/winter since that show I will repeatedly listen to The Great Depression. I feel like everyone should listen to them, regardless of them not being a band, download their album. I uploaded for you.

Richmond Vs Louisville

I cannot decide on what I want to do.
I love Louisville and it feels like home. I wish I could figure out what I want to do with my life. Why is this such a hard decision? Why can't I figure this out? I want someone to make the decision for me, but I know it's mine to make.
Either decision I feel like I'm fucking up my life. I will disappoint someone. I just feel so helpless & I know I'm not. I'm creating so much stress for myself by not just making a decision.

I cannot find a job here. I don't have an apartment. The only thing that is certain is school.
At least in Louisville I will get my job back, I think, and I will have an income. I don't have anywhere to live, yet, which is so stressful it makes me sick. I can go to school in Louisville, too. I just want to make the decision.
I haven't even really moved yet. All of my shit is still there. I have until like tomorrow morning to make a decision. I don't want to make the decision.

My mom is going to hate me if I decide to move back. I just don't know what to do. I don't want to disappoint her. I want to do what makes me happy and where I won't fail. Ugh. I just don't fucking know.

Save me from myself.
