war hungry s/t

I've been slacking on listening to new music lately. With only my iPhone to put music on, I sort of have to limit what I listen to when I'm not at home.
I downloaded the new War Hungry s/t LP. It's good. I've always loved War Hungry and thought maybe they would stop putting out material because Stick Together blew up..happy that didn't happen. You should check it out, download
I've only listened to it once but I like it.

Written Off, Razor Fade, Face Reality, & Stick Together Indy 7/13/11

On Wednesday, Josh, Tyler, Ethan, and I went to Indy to see Stick Together, Face Reality, RazorXFade, and Written Off. We stopped at the Nike outlet on the way up there but only Tyler bought shoes because he likes purple shoes.
Written Off covered Alone In A Crowd. The rest of the set Chris' vocals were out but the rest of the band played really well. Picked up a Written Off shirt and an Iron Mind Crew shirt.
Razor Fade covered SSD and Chain of Strength. It was one of their last shows for awhile because Carlos is going to San Diego. I love seeing Razor Fade. Not only are they an awesome band, they are really nice guys.
Face Reality covered Youth of Today. It was perfect. I saw them at 10/10/10 in Chicago last year but this set was so much better. Their new stuff is great and I can't wait for the new record. They also covered Straight Ahead. I didn't know it. I picked up a shirt.
Stick Together covered Breakdown. I love Breakdown. I love Stick Together. Their new shit is awesome too. I picked up a tape with their new stuff on it.
The show was fun. After the show, we were trying to leave and Jim's car wouldn't start. Every one already left except Razor Fade. They stayed after to dick around with the car with us until we called AAA to tow it to the dealer in Indy. Luckily, my future sister in law let us stay with her and her boyfriend. We woke up and Jim's momma picked us up and took us out to The Roost for pork tenderloins. I really liked hanging out with Jim's Mom. She is like my second mom. We got the car later in the day and headed back to Louisville. It was a fun trip despite the car troubles.

I'll post some pictures of the merch I picked up eventually.

In nonhardcore related news, I really like that Tyler, the Creator song feat Frank Ocean "She." I feel like such a turd for liking it so much.
